Join us at the New Orleans Cocktail Bar and Grill for a networking dinner on Tuesday, 12 August. We’ll combine great entertainment with great food in an evening that celebrates the achievements of our members. We’ll also award designation certificates to our newest members, recognising their commitment to safety in an events environment.
Cost of R575. includes a welcome drink, starter, main course, and dessert. All subsequent beverages are for your own account.
Individuals applying for a professional designation in event safety need to present their Portfolio of Evidence to an assessment panel that is convened for the last Tuesday of the month.

Join us on 14 October 2025 for the annual SACIA Golf Day and prize-giving dinner. It's a four-ball tournament followed by a prize-giving dinner.
This year we are using the event to help raise funds for the SABC Pioneer's celebration, marking 50 years of television broadcasting in South Africa. There's a shotgun start at 12h00 with a floating trophy awarded to the winning team.
We'll also have some "fun" prizes for those of us who are not chasing the silverware:
